Adding Silobreaker functionality to your custom site
In addition to the Silobreaker.com service, Silobreaker provides a set of Embeddable Wigets and an Application Programming Interface (API) to let users, partners and site owners extend their own services with Silobreaker's content and functionality. While the Widgets and the API is available to everyone free of charge, its use is subject to acceptance of our Terms of Use .
We intend to make most functionality, visualization and data on Silobreaker.com publically available. However, the Widgets and the API are currently under development, so more functionality will be added over time.
Embedding Widgets
The easiest way to start using Silobreaker's functionality on you own site is by embedding a widget. A widget is a small html and javascript-snippet, that can be embedded on any html page to display one of the visual tools from Silobreaker.

Silobreaker Data API
Aside from embedding widget, users may also develop directly to the Silobreaker Data API. The API provides access to Silobreaker.com content and analysis via a search backed REST syntax. The API accepts requests using standard HTTP, and offers several response types such as XML, JSON, ATOM or HTML. For more details, see the:
Silobreaker API Key
To be able to embed a widget and/or use the API, you you will need an API key. The key is automatically generated for you when you embed an existing widget from Silobreaker.com. You can also request a key by sending an email to support@silobreaker.com.
